Design : This journal cover is made from a dark brown micro-suede fabric and features the well loved image of Kokopelli on the front cover. Kokopelli has been a fertility symbol since the time of the Ancient Pueblo People  and is worshiped as the bringer of life to both the people and the land. It is believed that he carries both crop seeds and the seeds for babies on his back and that with his flute playing he can both invokes spring and seduce maidens. A vibrant green fabric symbolizing fertility is used for Kokopelli's body and gold for his head and flute to signify the life force and the spirit of music. A spiral design is satin stitched in rust threads on a golden border at the right edge of the front cover.

Closure :   A simple brown leather strap with a brass snap fastener
